Run The Diamond

For recreational leagues

Open registration on a Saturday. Have the divisions sorted by Sunday.

Hundreds of players, sign-ups open to anybody in town, and a birthdate cutoff that decides who plays where. That is a different job from a travel club’s, and this is the part of the product built for it.

Five steps, and a volunteer can do all of them

01

Set your divisions and your cutoff

Pick your sanctioning body and the cutoff comes with it — April 30, August 31 or January 1. Name the bands the way your town already names them.

02

Post one link

On your site, your Facebook page, a flyer at the field. A family who has never heard of you can register without anybody adding them first.

03

They pay as they register

Full price or a plan. Registration and payment are one event, so you are not chasing a hundred people who filled the form and forgot the cheque.

04

Everyone lands in a division

League age is computed from the birthdate they entered. The handful who fit two bands are held for a decision rather than guessed at.

05

Hand each coach their roster

Assign a coach and they get that team and no other, with the parents already attached. Nobody retypes a spreadsheet.

Age divisions

The bodies disagree. We keep track.

Most baseball measures league age on April 30, Little League on August 31, most softball on January 1. Set yours per sport and every athlete is placed as they register.

A division keeps the concrete date it was created with, so changing the rule next season cannot silently re-age children who already signed up under the old one.

4 athletes fit two divisions on the Apr 30 cutoff. You choose once, and the division keeps the date it was created with.

Written for volunteers, not a front office

A league board turns over every couple of years, and whoever takes the registrar’s job in March should not need a handover document. Everything a volunteer touches is one screen with one job on it.

Every coach, board member and team parent gets their own login at no extra cost. Charging per seat is how a league ends up with one shared password.

What it costs a league

Program$199/mo

Up to 400 athletes · $2,388 billed annually

Organization$349/mo

Up to 900 athletes · $4,188 billed annually · public registration, migration help

On top of that our fee is 1% + $0.50, capped at $20 — on a $185 registration that is $2.35. Stripe is passed through at cost, and a family paying by bank costs 0.8% capped at $5 rather than 2.9% + $0.30. Across four hundred registrations that gap is real money, and it is the league’s.

What we don’t do

We don’t build your game schedule, run standings, assign umpires, or keep the books for the concession stand. Those are somebody else’s job and they do them well.

What we do is the front office: registration, the money, the divisions, the paperwork, the uniforms and the messages — the parts that are the same every season and that somebody is currently doing by hand.

Bring last season's registration export.

Book a demo

Thirty minutes, no slides. We'll set your divisions up live on the call against your own numbers, and you keep the demo league afterwards.
